All arriving passengers must complete an online Travel Declaration Form from the Puerto Rico Health Department, show a negative molecular COVID-19 test result taken no more than 72 hours prior, and obtain an Airport Exit Confirmation QR Code, which travelers will automatically receive when uploading their molecular test results to the Puerto Rico Health Department’s online portal.

Face coverings are mandatory at airports and public areas, or individuals will be subject to a fine.

Thermographic cameras monitor temperatures.

Enhanced protocols will take place at baggage claim before exiting the airport.

An Island-wide curfew is in effect from 11:00 PM – 5:00 AM, except for emergencies.

Dining
Restaurants are operating at 30% capacity, with reservations recommended, and are required to conspicuously post the number of patrons that constitutes 30%, making such posting visible to patrons inside and outside of the restaurant.

Alcohol sales are permitted within curfew hours, as are operations of restaurant dining rooms.

Employees are required to use face coverings and floor plans are to maintain distancing protocols.

Buffets, salad bars, and self-serve options, as well as reusable menus, are prohibited at restaurants. Gloves are also mandatory when serving guests.

Attractions
Public beaches and natural reserves are open, following social distancing guidelines and with the use of masks when not in the water. Public alcohol consumption is prohibited.

Museums are operating at 30% capacity.

Hotel pool facilities are open at 30% capacity.

Common areas at hotels close at 11:00 PM, in accordance with the Island-wide curfew.

Marinas are open, following social distancing guidelines.

Some attractions and tours are open. Visitors should connect with their tour operators directly for additional information about operation status and specific protocols.

Access to Old San Juan from 11:00 PM – 5:00 AM will be limited to residents and tourists staying in the area.

Casinos and Golf Courses
Casinos are open at 30% capacity within curfew hours.

Golf courses, across the Island, are currently open within curfew hours.

Note: Tourism businesses have an appointed Health & Safety Officer responsible for enforcing these measures.

Properties like hotels and small inns are:
Conducting temperature checks, screening symptoms, and disinfecting luggage in reception areas upon entry.

Adhering to high standards of cleanliness and sanitation following thorough housekeeping procedures that abide by CDC and EPA standards.

Requiring face coverings for all guests and personnel in public areas.

Encouraging limited capacity in elevators and other public spaces.

Pool facilities are open to registered guests only at 30% from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM, in accordance with common area policy. No day passes or club members permitted. Guests must wear face coverings at all times except when sunbathing or swimming. Spas are open as well by appointment. Wellness centers and spa services can operate from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
